So I've spent the last few days imprisoned in my home due to the amount a snow piling up on my door step. This has given me the time to get everything I need to be done for the Christmas Fayre, that I am selling my jewellery and a few cards at.
So here are a few pictures of children's jewellery that I will be selling there...
Today I've spent a fair bit researching beads to use on a custom piece, which always excites me. Seeing the variety of beads before me, and making the decision of what to buy. Knowing that it is going to be something that some else wheres.
I've also been designing and making a voucher, for part of a fundraiser that I've been asked to contribute to.
Medium size beaded bracelet, used with weaved pink tiger-tail. Pink is one of my favourite colours so , I have to stop myself designing and creating to many pieces.
I have spent most of the afternoon browsing the web for beads, fastenings and other findings. I bought quite a few beads off hobby craft, which isn't where I generally buy most of my beads from. Those two shops would be:
The main shop that I use for beading needs is Jencel. Jencel used to have a shop based 1/2 mile from where I live but, a few years ago it turned to an online only shop. But it has not lost any of its appeal to me.
Another shop that I adore is Bead Hive. I firstly discovered this shop during a weekend in York, I was over joyed by the range and quality of the beads! And then only to discover, they also have an online shop!
So they are the two shops that I would recommend to you.
